Wild and hairy Eldryn roam the dark and gloomy mountain side of an active volcano. They are a terrifyingly fast and large beast capable of outrunning the many dangers of these highlands. They have a very calm temperament all things considered and have been known to try and communicate with the poor folk who get lost in these mountains. Eldryn's interaction with lost travelers have led to them being part of local folklore. Stories have told of the Eldryn guiding those in distress to safety & offering protection against other dangers in the mountains. They are seen as mystical beings with a connection to the natural world. Showing kindness to the Eldryn can unlock their surprisingly gentle and nurturing side, fostering a bond of mutual respect and cooperation between inhabitants of Valderra and these remarkable creatures.
